Games I've played in order of playing
Pokemon is a franchise that needs no introduction so I'll spare the history/infodump like I do in my other shrines and go straight as to why it's earned its own little place on my page. Pokemon has been with me for most of my life, with my first ever game being pokemon diamond which I played on my DSi XL. I instantly fell in love and often played with my friends, both in game and pretending we were pokemon trainers during recess. Even though I had points in my life where I lost interest in the franchise, it never really left my life. I can't say pokemons really changed my life or anything extreme like that but I definitely wouldn't be the person I am without it.
Also I do like newer gen pokemon!! I just think the gen 5 sprites are super cute and wanted to showcase a bunch!!

other pokemon i like
TEAM NOVA
TEAM DICK GRAB
TEAM COCK
TEAM AMMONITE
As a kid I played heart gold, but I unfortunately no longer have access to the game file so I have no idea what my childhood team was other than picking cyndaquil as my starter and most definitely having ho-oh on my team because I was That Kind Of Kid™. However, I've recently gotten my hands on a physical copy of Soul Silver and have had a blast playing it! I think the story/plot is a bit silly but the game is super charming regardless. I have yet to beat the elite four so the team displayed is my current team but I see myself taking everyone to the end anyways! My proudest achivement by far is my shiny lugia. Funnily enough I actually got them while I was watching one of ranboo's streams, I think it was them playing unpacking iirc!

I don't really remember much from pokemon X sadly, and you'll quickly see a pattern of this being the case. I played it on release day, finished it as quickly as I could, and never really touched it again. As you can see, I REALLY loved fire types as a kid. I don't know who implemented the idea in my brain but for some reason I thought that fire types were the best type. period. I was really surprised to see the pikachu in the hall of fame, I don't remember her at all! I think Pokemon X is the least engaged I've ever felt towards a Pokemon game. Not to say that the game is necessarily bad and no shade to anyone who really loves this game!
Even though I don't entirely remember ORAS too well in terms of story and gameplay, I do know this game was the most I've ever been interactive with the online Pokemon community! I recieved a lot of the exclusive code pokemon and I spent DAYS just wonder trading pokemon in hopes of getting all the starter pokemon! (though I never completed the collection sadly) I also tried to shiny hunt swablu and it was the 2nd time I've ever shiny hunted a pokemon, my first time being heatran in platinum when I was a kid. I never ended up getting it, but maybe one day I'll continue the grind!
So. Bad news. This was the first ever game I've reset and I did so about 3 years ago.. So I sadly do not have my original team and as you've probably seen I certainly don't have the memory to tell you who was on my team. However, I know for sure I had a toxapex, incineroar, lunala, guzzlord, and xurkitree on my team at some point because those are some of my favourite pokemon from the region and I have fleeting memories of them! However, this most certainly wasn't the team I beat the game with and I'll probably never know. I wish I could say that's enough dwelling on the past but alas I don't really remember my current moon team much either! I know my ledian has caused me to really love the pokemon! I planned on keeping them til the very end alongside my dartrix. Not sure yet if I'll reset for a 3rd time or just attempt to pick up where I left off!
I vividly remember swearing to myself that I wouldn't forget this game's story and guess what ended up happening LMFAO though in my defense I just have terrible memory. What did stick though, and still sticks to this day tbh, is Hop. He's probably one of if not my favourite rival out of all the games. I still remember the postgame scene where he initially didn't know what he wanted to do with his life anymore now that his dream of becoming champion was out the window. But then he eventually turned to wanting to be a professor! It's such a sweet moment and incredibly relatable as someone who's struggled with deciding what I want to do with my life. As for the team, I barely remember anyone besides rhydon and vileplume ngl! Didn't even know I had a jolteon on the team LMAO.
